Old Work – New Gallery

Ten years ago I created a small series of work that made a very brief public appearance that was never shown again. Two of the four – photography/collage/mix-media pieces are now hanging in the new X Gallery in Eureka Springs. Owner and artist Kris Cross is providing a welcomed venue for artists attempting slightly edgier work. It’s a young gallery, deliberately raw in tone and a great place to view some of our young and not-so-young talent. X is located in the recently renovated 2 Pine building below The Space, across from the E.S. post office.

Pictured is a detail of “Repent” – a 32” x 32” mix-media collage done in 2004. Some locals may remember model Alex, a talented tattoo artist who briefly resided in Eureka.
