To many, an invasive weed – to me, a delicate, abundant wildflower that takes me back to my suburban upbringing in Toronto. How I loved to pick bouquets of Queen Anne’s Lace, usually mixed with Buttercups to bring home to my mother after school. Here in the Ozark’s they are plentiful and watching a field of them swaying in the breeze, in the morning light, is a delight.
