Food – Art and Matisse

While the Incredible Edible Art Show, todays ESSA benefit that starts at 3 p.m. is all about the food, local artists were asked to create a postcard to be auctioned off at the event.

Having done a chair in the past for their annual “Chairity Event, “ I was relieved when asked to do a 5” x 7” postcard.

The result – a set of 3 cards that pay homage to Matisse, by combining my own photographic imagery and collaging them with the works of the master artist.

The list of artist participating for the event is impressive, and I urge everyone to come out in support of our Eureka Springs School of the Arts.

And I hear there is also some incredible food to be eaten.
